Dynamic QR campaigns

Pro QR campaigns encode a stable tracking route, so printed placements remain manageable.

  • +Choose an existing short link and name the offline placement, such as event booth or packaging.
  • +Apply expiry, password, color, theme, or logo branding when the campaign requires it.
  • +Download the asset and monitor scans by device, geography, traffic quality, and campaign.

Smart routing

Pro routing rules are evaluated in order; the link destination remains the fallback.

  • +Define rule destinations only for public, approved campaign URLs.
  • +Add conditions for device, OS, country, language, referrer, UTM, visitor, bot, or schedule.
  • +Use the route test workflow before enabling rules on a live campaign.

Analytics and reporting

Custom Domains & DNS Configuration

A branded short domain establishes client trust and carries your identity across every link and QR code.

  • +Add your branded subdomain (e.g., go.yourbrand.com) in Dashboard > Settings > Domains.
  • +Create a DNS CNAME record at your registrar pointing to target: cname.linkforge.site (TTL: Auto or 3600).
  • +For root apex domains (e.g., yourbrand.com), configure CNAME flattening or ALIAS records pointing to cname.linkforge.site.
  • +Automated edge TLS/SSL certificates are provisioned and renewed at zero cost within 60 seconds of DNS propagation.
  • +Safety lock: Active domains cannot be disabled or deleted until existing campaign links are safely reassigned.

REST v1 API

Integrate programmatic link creation, dynamic QR code rendering, and real-time click telemetry directly into your application, agency workflow, or deployment pipeline.

1. Authentication

All API requests must include your workspace API key in the Authorization header as a Bearer token. Manage your production keys in Dashboard > Settings > API Keys.

Rate Limits & Reliability: LinkForge APIs enforce standard rate limits per workspace with X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, and Retry-After headers. If you require dedicated high-throughput concurrency or webhook event delivery, contact our engineering team.
