Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before creating a workspace or launching campaigns on LinkForge.
Operated by LinkForge Technologies (Sole Proprietorship), Jayesh Lomate, Maharashtra, India.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, creating a workspace, or using any services provided by LinkForge("LinkForge", "we", "us", or "our"), you enter into a legally binding agreement to abide by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, organization, or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not create an account or access the LinkForge platform.
2. Account Registration & Security
- Account Accuracy: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated.
- Credential Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, API keys, and session tokens. LinkForge enforces minimum 12-character passphrases and SHA-256 token hashing.
- Authentication Methods: We offer direct email/password login and third-party authentication through Google OAuth. If you use a third-party service to log in, you authorize us to access and use your information from that service as permitted by that service.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Email-based Two-Factor Authentication is supported and recommended for all workspace administrators. Enforced 2FA applies automatically to Business plan workspaces.
- Unauthorized Access: You must notify us immediately at security@linkforge.site if you suspect any unauthorized access to your workspace.
3. Subscriptions, Regional Pricing & Payments
LinkForge offers Free, Starter, Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscription tiers. Billed services are processed through our Merchant of Record partner, Dodo Payments.
Billing Cycles & Renewal
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring Monthly or Yearly basis. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled through your Dodo billing portal prior to the renewal date.
Regional Currency Pricing
Prices are presented in regional currencies (USD $ or INR ₹) based on request geolocation. Taxes and local statutory levies are itemized during Dodo-hosted checkout.
Refunds & Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle. Refunds are evaluated in accordance with Dodo Payments refund policies.
4. Acceptable Use, API & Content Restrictions
You agree not to use LinkForge for any illegal, malicious, or abusive activities. Strictly prohibited behaviors include:
- Creating short links that redirect to phishing sites, malware, spyware, or ransomware.
- Transmitting unsolicited commercial communications (Spam) or deceptive redirects.
- Attempting to bypass destination Web Risk reputation scans or IP hashing security layers.
- Engaging in automated scraping or unauthorized API load testing against LinkForge edge servers.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any portion of the LinkForge service.
API Usage: API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan. You must not attempt to exceed or circumvent these rate limits. Excessive usage may result in temporary or permanent suspension of API access.
Detailed rules are codified in our Acceptable Use Policy. Violation of these policies results in immediate link disabling and workspace suspension.
5. Custom Domains, Routing & Analytics
LinkForge enables customers to connect branded custom domains via Cloudflare SSL verification. You warrant that you own or have full legal authorization to route traffic through any custom domain added to your workspace.
LinkForge is not responsible for domain registrar fees, third-party DNS misconfigurations, or domain name expirations managed outside our platform.
Features including webhooks, conversion tracking, and smart routing are provided subject to your subscription plan's limits and availability. LinkForge does not guarantee delivery of every webhook event or 100% accuracy of analytics tracking due to network and client-side variations (e.g., ad blockers).
6. Intellectual Property & Brand Overlays
LinkForge retains all ownership rights, title, and interest in and to the platform software, user interface design, edge routing algorithms, and trademarks.
You retain ownership of all brand logos, custom QR overlays, and marketing copy uploaded to your workspace. By uploading assets, you grant LinkForge a limited license to host and render those assets to fulfill your link redirection requests.
7. DMCA & Copyright Policy
LinkForge respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content routed through or hosted on our platform infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Please send all copyright complaints to our designated agent at legal@linkforge.site. Ensure your notice includes all required information under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
8. Data Processing Addendum (DPA)
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Enterprise customers who require a formal Data Processing Addendum (DPA) to comply with GDPR, CCPA, or similar privacy frameworks may request a standardized DPA by contacting legal@linkforge.site.
9. Service Level & Edge Performance
LinkForge utilizes global edge infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers & KV) designed to deliver sub-50ms redirect latencies. We target a 99.9% platform availability SLA for our API and link routing services.
Service Credits: If we fail to meet our SLA in any given month, eligible paying customers may request service credits. You will receive a 1% credit of your monthly fee for every 0.1% the uptime falls below 99.9%, up to a maximum of 30% of your monthly fee.
Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation during upstream network outages or force majeure events.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LinkForge, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of the platform, including but not limited to the distribution of phishing links, malware, or other content violations.
11. Limitation of Liability & Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LINKFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL LINKFORGE'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Termination & Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any workspace immediately without notice upon detecting malicious activity, fraudulent billing, or material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the workspace and route traffic via LinkForge short links will cease immediately.
Data Export Grace Period: In the event of standard termination by either party (excluding termination for malicious activity), we provide a thirty (30) day grace period during which you may access your workspace solely for the purpose of exporting your data and link configurations.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of India. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Maharashtra, India.
14. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, the parties agree to participate in mediation before pursuing any litigation.
Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes at least thirty (30) days prior to the changes taking effect by sending an email to the address associated with your account and by displaying a prominent banner in the LinkForge dashboard.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
